No, its not a crazy fifties family photo just a bash at an idea I had about updating old images with subtle clues that they're not 'real'. Something sparked by an article on False Memory.

 

Love oil painting, another little daub (nicer colours than the photo would suggest) using palette knife over paper collage.

 

Blue paint, fresh bright colour - an optimistic week this week.

 

Art Soup Monkeys was an art group I named and belonged to for a while. I'm revisiting my sketch books for some of these pieces, hate to think of those ideas tucked away in the dark. This was my ink drawing to illustrate the group. It pretty much fizzled out, but now I've found this again I may recruit

some new monkeys.
